Meet The Author
Hi, I’m Falon.
I’m a mama, storyteller, and the author of Mama’s Magic Cup.
This book was born from a longing.
A longing for rest. A longing for joy. A longing to believe that caring for myself wasn’t something I had to earn after everyone else’s needs were met.
Like so many mothers, I spent years pouring love into the people around me while quietly placing myself at the bottom of the list. Somewhere along the way, I began to wonder what it would look like if little girls grew up believing something different.
What if they learned early that their needs matter too?
What if they knew that rest isn’t laziness, joy isn’t selfish, and caring for themselves is one of the ways they care for the people they love?
That question became Mama’s Magic Cup.
I wrote this story for the little girls who are watching. The ones learning what love looks like from the grown-ups around them. My hope is that when they turn the final page, they’ll carry this reminder with them:
You do not have to empty yourself to prove your love.
The love you pour into yourself overflows into everyone around you.
When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me creating cozy moments with my children, dreaming up new stories, and trying to find little ways to fill my own cup again.
